About the Piercer Hey there, my name is Melissa, but most people call me Mel! I have been piercing for about 4 years now .   I work for the City of Austin Monday - Friday, however on my days off and in the evenings, I pierce.   I started Talon's Point Piercing as a business because of the number of piercings I was doing each week.  I started by just piercing friends and aquaintances, but now I just don't want to stop.  I enjoy piercing.  Through piercing their bodies, people discover new aspects of themselves and express themselves in truly unique ways.  I know I have.   As the piercer I am honored to assist someone in this process of discovery and expression. Piercing is an artistic media.   Decorating one's body in a way that suits their personality, style and attitude is an expression of a their deepest dreams, desires, and beliefs.  What can you tell about someone from their piercings? Alot! From pain threshold, sense of adventure, courage, style, simplicity, classiness and zest for life,... there is a story in each piercing. Talon's Point is mobile.  I come to you.  I come prepared with everything sterilized and ready to go. My needles come out of their sterile packaging, the jewelry has been sterilized and is ready to go! There are a few piercings I will not perform. Such as anything having to do with the genital area, whether you are male or female. I do not disagree with these piercings, but it's a personal preference that I don't preform them, especially since I am mobile. Anything other than that, if I can pierce it, I will! :) In order to be pierced by me you need to be at least 18 years of age or older. Provide me with a valid picture ID and be ready to sign the contract(s) in order for me to protect myself as a piercer, just as you would in any shop.
